Funny how one magazine article said that love causes blindness, momentary lunacy and hallucinations. It is a cynical way to look at love, but then again…

Blindness is very much what happens when the thing we have loved most about the person may just be our undoing. Heard about the man who worship the ground his lover walked on. She was aggressive, strong, beautiful beyond compare. He would've married her, but then she jilted him because she was strong-willed and aggressive- she didn't think much of him and his submissiveness.

Momentary lunacy, this one's easy…Tom Cruise jumping on the couch and doing a Snoopy dancing in the air in love. Or better yet the first time we've ever heard and experienced it…bubbly feeling, a wide smile breaking out just thinking of the object of affection.

Hallucinations, there is a poster in a women's crisis shelter that read "Oh love, look what you've done…" the picture is of a woman beaten up beyond recognition looking up with the eye she can peer through. With my own set of scars and episodes, this is certifiably a deadly cocktail that not everyone survives (there are also abused men).
